SUMMARY:DDS West Region Regional Advisory & Planning Council Public Meeting
DESCRIPTION:DDS Regional Advisory and Planning Council (RAC) Meetings\n\n\nThese meetings take place in every region six times a year.  Their purpose is to advise Regional Directors on the needs of persons with intellectual disability within the region.  They are open the the public and attended by Regional Directors. Families and self-advocates who receive DDS services are strongly encouraged to attend.  Many families have found these meetings to be helpful in obtaining information and for opening the lines of communication between Regional Directors and families.
