Housing Alternatives:
How to create supportive, independent living arrangements for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This workshop is designed to help families who are waiting for services learn about alternatives to DDS funded supports. Families will receive information on how to create housing opportunities, about a new Medicaid option called Community First Choice, how to self-direct a budget, hire your own staff and start creating a full life for your family member with intellectual and developmental disabilities – NOW!
