Moving on from high school is a major transition for any student, but for students with special needs and their families, It can be doubly complicated, because every step needs to be carefully planned. The student needs to be supported not only in making changes, but in processing the meaning of those changes. It can add both stress and excitement to an already bittersweet time in life.
